October 2024, Fence Creek was awarded the Imma Morse Memorial Seascape Award, Gallery 53 100th Annual Fall Show, Meriden, CT, Jurors commented "This fabric seascape offers all that a wonderful art piece could have. An innovative medium, a well-established composition, a color palette that is consistent and not overpowering, and some wonderful use of line and pattern make this Van Gogh-inspired fabric painting succeed. Bravo!"
